Learning Architect

Role Overview

SweetRush is seeking a Learning Architect to join its Client Solutions team. This is a high-impact role focused on proposal strategy and master storytelling—helping craft tailored, persuasive proposals that showcase SweetRush’s training offerings.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end proposal ownership: Manage proposal flow, writing, and tailoring from first draft through final delivery, ensuring cohesive and client-specific submissions.
• Write with a marketing mindset: Use storytelling, hooks, and creative framing to make proposals memorable and persuasive (human-centered communication, not technical writing).
• Tailor to each audience: Research client requests, brand, and context to customize tone and content.
• Tell the learner’s story: Create learner journeys and “day in the life” narratives that help clients visualize the experience for their people.
• Partner with art direction: Collaborate with Art Directors so proposals integrate words and visuals intentionally and emotionally.
• Know and grow the portfolio: Build deep familiarity with SweetRush case studies and project examples; contribute new case study writing over time.
• Support solution design: Partner with Solution Architects to help define scope and propose innovative, feasible solutions using instructional design expertise (without owning budgets/timelines/detailed scoping).
• Design learning solutions: Propose creative learning formats (e.g., eLearning and instructor-led training) in collaboration with Solution Architects.

Requirements

• Deep instructional design expertise.
• Strong proposal writing skills with a marketing/storytelling approach.
• Ability to research clients and tailor content to their context.
• Excellent writing that balances detail-oriented accuracy with captivating narrative.
• Comfortable collaborating with Art Directors and Solution Architects.
• Must be available during established working hours and able to use virtual/instant messaging and conferencing tools.
