About the role

Role overview

Stripe is seeking a Learning Architect (hybrid) who designs and builds tech-forward learning systems—not just content. You’ll partner across People Development and Enablement & Ops to transform high-touch learning programs into scalable, AI-enabled learning ecosystems that work in employees’ day-to-day flow.

What you’ll do

Strategic partnership & program transformation

  • Consultative architecting: Partner with People Development DRIs to evolve facilitated curricula into scalable digital learning ecosystems.
  • Modernization audit: Review existing development content and identify where technology and AI can expand reach while preserving rigor.
  • Stakeholder synthesis: Act as a Product Manager for learning, turning PD expert inputs into a technical roadmap aligned with Stripe’s talent strategy.

Systems architecture & AI innovation

  • AI-driven coaching: Lead architecture and deployment of AI interfaces providing context-aware leadership advice and skill-building grounded in Stripe’s principles.
  • Infrastructure optimization: Build data “pipes” and knowledge structures with Ops & Enablement so internal content can be surfaced dynamically and reliably.
  • Builder of builders: Create standardized templates, AI prompt libraries, and reusable digital components for People Development, Enablement, and Ops.

Experience architecture & UI/UX design

  • Functional craft: Convert leadership philosophies into bite-sized, scannable, interactive digital interfaces with strong usability and visual quality.
  • In-platform enablement: Design learning assets for Stripe’s ecosystem (Confluence, Slack, G-Suite) for high mid-workflow utility.
  • Prototyping & user testing: Create interactive prototypes and run rapid feedback loops to refine before full rollout.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years experience in instructional design or learning engineering.
  • A portfolio demonstrating “functional beauty”—turning “walls of text” into intuitive, well-designed digital learning experiences.
  • AI-native mindset: ability to go beyond simple prompting and think in terms of how AI can be architected (additional detail truncated in the posting).
