Learning Architect

Role overview

Stripe is looking for a Learning Architect (hybrid) who can design learning experiences like a product engineer. You will build the systems, platforms, and tech-forward solutions that deliver Stripe’s development philosophy to employees in the flow of work, partnering across People Development and Enablement & Ops.

Responsibilities

• Strategic partnership & program transformation

  • Act as a high-touch partner to People Development DRIs to evolve facilitated curricula into scalable digital learning ecosystems.
  • Lead a modernization audit of existing development content to identify where technology and AI can expand reach and impact without losing rigor.
  • Synthesize stakeholder input into a cohesive technical roadmap aligned with Stripe’s talent and development strategy.

• Systems architecture & AI innovation

  • Architect and deploy AI-driven coaching interfaces for context-aware leadership advice and skill-building aligned to Stripe’s operating principles.
  • Partner with Ops & Enablement to build data pipelines and knowledge structures to surface internal content dynamically and reliably.
  • Create standardized templates, AI prompt libraries, and digital components so teams can maintain high craft and quality independently.

• Experience architecture & UI/UX design

  • Translate complex leadership philosophies into bite-sized, scannable, interactive digital interfaces that reduce cognitive load and emphasize functional beauty.
  • Design and optimize learning assets for Stripe’s ecosystem (Confluence, Slack, G-Suite) for mid-workflow usefulness.
  • Build interactive prototypes and run user testing using rapid feedback loops before full-scale deployment.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in instructional design or learning engineering.
• A portfolio demonstrating “functional beauty” (turning long text into intuitive, attractive, highly functional digital experiences).
