Learning Architect

Role Overview

Learning Architect at Stripe—build tech-forward learning systems that deliver Stripe’s development philosophy “in the flow of work.” You’ll partner with People Development and Enablement & Ops to transform high-touch programs into scalable, AI-enabled learning ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Consultative architecting: Partner with People Development DRIs (e.g., Manager & Leadership Development, Team Effectiveness) to evolve high-touch curricula into scalable digital learning ecosystems.
• Modernization audit: Review existing development content to identify where technology and AI can expand reach and impact without losing program rigor.
• Stakeholder synthesis: Act like a Product Manager for learning, synthesizing inputs into a cohesive technical roadmap aligned with Stripe’s talent strategy.
• AI-driven coaching: Architect and deploy AI-enabled interfaces that provide context-aware leadership advice and skill-building grounded in Stripe’s operating principles.
• Infrastructure optimization: Build data “pipes” and knowledge structures so internal content can be surfaced dynamically and reliably.
• Builder of builders: Create standardized templates, AI prompt libraries, and digital components for independent maintenance at high craft quality.
• Functional learning design: Convert complex leadership philosophies into bite-sized, scannable, interactive digital interfaces that reduce cognitive load.
• In-platform enablement: Design learning assets for Stripe’s ecosystem (Confluence, Slack, G-Suite) and optimize for mid-workflow utility.
• Prototyping & user testing: Develop interactive prototypes and run rapid feedback loops to refine before full-scale rollout.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years experience in instructional design or learning engineering.
• Portfolio demonstrating “functional beauty”—transforming long-form content into intuitive, attractive, highly functional digital experiences.
• AI-native mindset (going beyond simple prompting to architectural thinking for AI-enabled learning systems).
