About the role

Lead Webflow Developer

Lead BX Studio’s most complex Webflow projects end-to-end, partnering with designers, strategists, and junior developers to ship high-quality sites on time and on budget.

What you’ll do

Own delivery from scoping and wireframes through launch and post-launch optimizations
Architect scalable Webflow systems (components, class structures, CMS schemas) using Client-First or similar methodologies
Mentor and review junior developers; set and enforce best practices for accessibility, performance, and responsive design
Build advanced Webflow functionality, including:
- Memberships, logic flows, complex animations
- E-commerce
- API work and automations via Zapier/Make
- Custom code embeds
Translate design files (Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD) into Webflow with high fidelity and micro-interaction polish
Drive SEO, page speed, and analytics; meet Lighthouse and Core Web Vitals targets
Interface with clients and stakeholders for technical guidance, estimates, and proactive solutions
Continuously improve internal workflow by researching Webflow releases and no-code automation tools

Role requirements

3+ years of professional Webflow development (or 6+ years front-end with 3+ in Webflow)
Portfolio demonstrating complex, high-traffic Webflow builds (including CMS, e-commerce, and custom interactions)
Expert understanding of Client-First nomenclature and component libraries (e.g., Relume, Flowbase)
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and REST/GraphQL APIs; able to write custom code when needed
Strong attention to detail for pixel-perfect execution across breakpoints and browsers
Leadership/mentorship experience (standards, code reviews, upskilling)
Strong project-management skills (scoping, documentation, meeting deadlines)
Reliability and initiative in a fully remote environment
Availability to work core hours in EST or PST

Nice-to-haves

Experience with advanced Webflow system architecture and automations at scale
Demonstrated success with Core Web Vitals/Lighthouse improvements
