Lead Vue/Nuxt Developer

Role overview

Lead Vue/Nuxt Developer for remote work on a long-term contract. You will own and deliver enterprise-grade front-end capabilities, collaborating cross-functionally while maintaining strong code quality through review and testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on front-end development using Vue/Nuxt (primary framework is Nuxt)
• Apply AI-assisted development tools for code generation and analysis, while ensuring human review, validation, and technical ownership
• Develop and support production-grade enterprise applications
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Agile/Scrum)
• Write and run application tests using Playwright and Vitest/Jest
• Work within enterprise environments that may include containers, real-time data, and cloud deployments

Required qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with front-end frameworks (Vue/Nuxt, also mentions Svelte)
• Working knowledge of Docker, Git, and AWS
• Experience leveraging Firestore or other real-time databases
• Proven track record developing and supporting enterprise applications in production
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum
• Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred qualifications

• Practical experience with Nuxt, Vue, and Angular
• Experience re-platforming/re-writing enterprise applications
• Experience with state management tools such as Pinia, Nuxt useState, and RxJS
• Experience building hybrid mobile apps for iOS/iPad using Ionic/Capacitor
• Exposure to large, distributed enterprise environments
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud-based deployment models
