Lead UI/UX Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)

Lead the design and development of enterprise web applications supporting complex, data-driven business workflows for a global Fortune 500 client.

Key Responsibilities

• Own UI/UX strategy and front-end architecture for enterprise applications
• Translate complex workflows into intuitive experiences using wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready implementations
• Build responsive web apps with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Create reusable UI components, design systems, and scalable front-end patterns
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver user-focused solutions
• Support performance, accessibility, security, and usability best practices
• Mentor developers and help establish front-end standards

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years building enterprise web applications
• Strong Angular and TypeScript experience
• UX design background, including wireframing and prototyping with tools like Figma
• Experience building reusable component libraries and design systems
• Experience integrating with REST APIs
• Knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards
• Experience in Agile environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise data management/governance or workflow-based applications
• Familiarity with state management frameworks (e.g., NgRx, Redux, Signals)
• Experience designing data-intensive apps (advanced search, filtering, workflows)
• Exposure to cloud-based applications and AI-enabled solutions

Location & Work Model

• Remote (Charlotte, NC preferred)

Compensation

• $65–70/hour (W2) for a 6-month contract-to-hire
