About the role

Role overview

Lead and coach a UI/UX design team to improve highly visible digital products in a growing product organization. You’ll be a player/coach partnering closely with software engineers, UX researchers, strategists, product managers, and other teams to deliver intuitive, engaging B2B experiences.

Responsibilities

Manage and coach design team: assign work, assess performance, host design reviews, and coach on UX strategy and UX/UI design.
Own UX strategy and vision with product leaders across the products you build and support.
Run UX/UI intake and prioritization: manage incoming requests and prioritize work by business value.
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to shape intuitive experiences.
Produce end-to-end design artifacts: frameworks, conceptual diagrams, user flows, wireframes, detailed visual mockups, and prototypes.
Rapidly prototype multiple concepts to clarify customer/business problems.
Drive solutions with constraints: align designs to user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
Use service blueprints to connect front-stage and back-stage experience.
Execute design through development (concept to development).
Iterate based on feedback from users and stakeholders.
Influence research and feature roadmaps using insights and user feedback.
Develop design guidelines to ensure consistent journeys across the product experience.
Scope and plan work: estimate level of effort, communicate plans, and manage execution in a dynamic team environment.

Requirements

10+ years of demonstrated UX strategy and UX/UI design experience.
Portfolio of past design work.
Experience managing a team of designers.
Strong communication skills.
Expertise with Figma (wireframing and design tooling).
Strong visual design skills.
Experience designing in an agile development process.
Experience designing both B2C and B2B experiences.

Nice to have

Healthcare domain knowledge/experience.
Experience creating or launching new products/solutions.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience creating accessibility solutions aligned with WCAG.
