Lead Technical Recruiter (Engineering)

Role Overview

Join Vanta as a Lead Technical Recruiter (Engineering) responsible for engineering hiring globally. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders, own the end-to-end hiring process, and represent Vanta’s talent brand while delivering an excellent candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Engineering hiring end-to-end across the company and globally.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape hiring strategy and align on hiring needs.
• Run full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through closing, including negotiating offers.
• Set and improve assessment standards for engineering roles.
• Use data and analytics to drive decisions (e.g., funnel health, talent pool effectiveness, and hiring velocity) and continuously improve recruiting efficiency.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the process.

Requirements

• 10+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting, ideally in fast-paced environments.
• Experience hiring engineering executives or IC leaders.
• Strong sourcing and market intelligence skills (role scarcity, competitive dynamics, evolving skill sets).
• Demonstrated ability to strategically influence stakeholders across all levels.
• Proven success closing candidates in complex offer scenarios, including both venture-backed/private and public companies.
• Ability to explain trade-offs of equity vehicles and expected outcomes.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills applied to recruiting decisions and process design.
