Lead ReactNative Developer

Role Overview

Lead React Native Developer (Mobile Hybrid Lead) at Brillio. You will define and lead end-to-end mobile strategy for iOS and Android using hybrid/cross-platform frameworks, partnering with product, security, infrastructure, and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Mobile architecture & strategy
  • Own the mobile architecture blueprint (client layers to backend integration: APIs, microservices, event-driven patterns)
  • Define standards/reference architectures for React Native / Flutter / Xamarin and native interoperability
  • Establish mobile domain models, API contracts, security controls, and data governance
  • Create roadmaps aligned with business OKRs
• Solution design
  • Lead designs for authentication, offline-first, background sync, push notifications, deep linking, app configuration, and feature flagging
  • Architect scalable backend integrations (API gateways, GraphQL/REST, caching, pub/sub)
  • Select runtime patterns (e.g., BFF, façade services)
  • Design telemetry/observability pipelines (crash analytics, performance, RUM, log aggregation)
• Security & compliance
  • Apply Zero Trust for mobile (secure storage, device attestation, jailbreak/root detection)
  • Align with OWASP MASVS/MSTG, NIST, ISO 27001; ensure compliance (GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA/PCI as applicable)
  • Oversee MDM/UEM/MAM policies (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE, MobileIron)
  • Drive threat modeling, architecture risk assessments, and secure SDLC (SAST/DAST, dependency scanning)
• Platform engineering & DevOps
  • Define mobile CI/CD (Fastlane, Bitrise, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CircleCI), signing, and release orchestration
  • Standardize testing strategy (unit/UI/e2e, device farms, accessibility, performance, compatibility)
  • Govern app distribution (App Store/Play/enterprise), versioning, rollbacks, and release trains
• Scalability, performance & reliability
  • Offline resilience, concurrency, graceful degradation, efficient networking
  • Define SLAs/SLOs/SLIs, synthetic monitoring, crash thresholds, performance budgets
  • Optimize startup, memory, battery, and bundle size
• Data & integration
  • Model data flows and choose client storage (Secure Enclave/Keychain, Keystore, SQLite/Room/Realm, encrypted stores)
  • Define API schemas, backward compatibility, and schema evolution

Requirements

• Seasoned mobile hybrid lead/senior level experience defining and leading mobile architecture for iOS and Android
• Strong expertise in React Native and related mobile hybrid/cross-platform approaches
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and compliant mobile solutions integrating with enterprise systems
• Familiarity with observability, CI/CD for mobile, and performance/reliability practices

Nice-to-haves / Specialization

• Knowledge of GraphQL and Node.js backend integration patterns
• Security/compliance alignment (OWASP MASVS/MSTG, NIST, ISO 27001) and mobile device management practices
