About the role

Role Overview

Join Unanet’s Product Team as a Lead QA Automation Engineer. You’ll lead QA and build scalable automation frameworks to ensure successful project delivery, partnering closely with Engineering, Product Management, QA, and Leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead QA efforts for project delivery, overseeing manual and automation test strategies, plans, and processes across access points and scrum teams
Define and evolve testing strategies for automation, regression, performance, and release testing within an Agile SDLC
Architect and maintain test automation frameworks for:
- Web applications
- APIs (REST/WebHooks)
- Database layers
Develop and execute automated test suites
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, QA, and Leadership
Mentor and develop QA Engineers, and contribute to hiring and onboarding

Requirements

7+ years in Quality Engineering in B2B SaaS
3+ years of test automation experience (e.g., Katalon, Playwright, Selenium)
Practical experience writing test cases and enabling automation strategies
Experience with performance testing (e.g., JMeter, NeLoad, LoadRunner)
Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, Python, SmartBear)
Strong understanding of test methodologies, test case coverage analysis, and hardening/exploration strategies
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

Nice to Haves

Prior experience with AI-enabled QA technologies
Experience leading or mentoring Quality Engineers
