About the role
Role Overview
Lead Product Manager for Payments & Trust at Lime, owning the end-to-end payments experience and fraud strategy. You’ll drive the evolution of Lime’s global payments and risk systems across 250+ cities and 5 continents, partnering closely with Engineering, Data Science, Design, Finance, Legal, and other product teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the Payments Experience end-to-end across the rider journey: onboarding, trip start, post-trip billing, and subscriptions (e.g., LimePrime).
- Define payments product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to company goals (engagement and unit economics).
- Reduce payment friction to improve conversion and reliability at key moments (onboarding, trip start, subscription renewals).
- Expand local payment methods (LPMs) to unlock new riders and markets, including underbanked and international users.
- Partner with Data Science and Fraud teams to build risk systems such as:
- pre-authentication models
- fraud detection
- revenue recovery
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, compliant, high-quality payment solutions (Engineering, Design, Finance, Accounting, Legal).
- Define and track KPIs for payments performance, fraud prevention, uptime, and user satisfaction.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of product management experience, owning consumer-facing products at scale.
- Direct experience in payments/fintech/marketplace transactions or fraud/risk systems.
- Demonstrated impact using metrics (conversion, revenue, retention, or cost reduction).
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Data Science, and business stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
- Growth mindset; interest in leveraging AI to improve products and speed delivery.
Preferred
- Experience building/scaling global payments platforms (PSPs, wallets, subscriptions, BNPL, etc.).
- Startup experience (late-stage startup preferred).
- Familiarity with fraud prevention, chargebacks, KYC/AML, and revenue protection.
- Experience in two-sided marketplaces, mobility, or high-frequency consumer apps.
Location / Work Setup
- Remote, with a requirement to reside in the United States.
