Lead Product Manager (Employer Acquisition)

Role overview

Join ZipRecruiter as a Lead Product Manager for Employer Growth, focused on driving growth across the company’s SMB employer customer base. You’ll work on new employer acquisition, reactivation, and strategic partnerships, building scalable product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and execution of initiatives that drive growth for SMB employers, including acquisition and reactivation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Sales to optimize the employer acquisition journey.
• Lead product roadmap(s) for core product areas.
• Run rapid growth experiments and improve re-engagement experiences.
• Be the voice of the SMB customer by conducting user research and using insights to guide product decisions.
• Champion AI-driven development and incorporate AI/ML to solve user problems.
• Obsess over metrics to understand impact and drive product effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of successful product management experience.
• Strong customer obsession with hands-on user research experience.
• Deep B2B product experience building business-facing products at scale.
• Data-driven mindset: interrogate the “why” behind metrics, not just dashboards.
• Marketplace experience at a two-sided marketplace (e.g., jobs, real estate, rideshare).
• SMB product experience delivering products specifically for SMB customers.

Nice-to-haves

• AI/ML fluency, including experience leveraging Machine Learning in product features.
• Ability to tackle ambiguous, high-impact problems as a “smart generalist.”
