About the role

Role Overview

Lead the product design for Xplor Pay’s embedded payment solutions. You’ll set the design strategy, collaborate with product and cross-functional teams, and integrate AI-powered tools into the design lifecycle to improve efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities

Lead design strategy for Xplor Pay, aligning design direction with both business goals and user needs.
Partner with the Chief Product Officer and cross-functional teams to define product vision and design direction.
Integrate AI-powered prototyping tools and methods into the product design lifecycle.
Conduct and synthesize user research to inform design decisions.
Advocate for and apply user-centered design principles.
Communicate design rationale and constraints effectively with engineers.

Requirements

5+ years of UX design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful UX/UI work for complex web and mobile applications.
Mastery of Figma and strong design thinking capabilities.
Ability to create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups and to develop research materials (e.g., interview questions, surveys).
Deep understanding of user-centered design, usability heuristics, information architecture, design systems, and interaction design patterns.
Solid technical understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and ability to collaborate with engineers.
Proven problem-solving skills to break down complex problems into actionable design solutions.
Leadership experience: autonomously lead design initiatives, influence stakeholders, and mentor team members.
Experience running and synthesizing user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys).
Strong communication skills across verbal, written, and visual formats.
B2B SaaS experience.
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar.
Familiarity with AI in design/research/copy (e.g., Figma Make, Miro AI, copilots).
Proficiency with front-end coding (HTML/CSS) for prototyping or component development.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience in a Lead or Senior role is highly preferred.
