Lead Product Designer

About the role

Join Deel, a leading fintech company, as a Lead Product Designer. In this hands-on design leadership role, you will own the design of our most visible client and worker experiences on web and mobile. You will work closely with PDE Directors to shape the future of client and worker experiences, collaborate with designers on active projects, and manage and develop a small team. Ideal candidates have at least 8 years of product design experience, 2+ years of managing designers, and a strong background in B2B and consumer experiences. Key missions: Lead the design across Client and Worker experiences on Web and Mobile, ensuring high-quality and user-friendly products.. Collaborate with PDE Directors to shape the vision for Client and Worker experiences, connecting dots across journeys and challenging the status quo.. Manage and develop a small team of designers through hands-on collaboration, creating clarity, raising the bar, and putting them first. Profile: - We’re looking for someone who gets deep into product work, has a strong doer mindset, thinks big, and moves fast - Fintech experience is a plus - At least 2+ years managing designers - Comfortable across B2B and consumer experiences - Experience in fast-moving product companies (scale-ups, strong tech orgs, fintech, neo-banks) - 8+ years in Product Design, 3+ years operating at a very senior IC level (Lead / Staff) - AI: Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies; experience designing AI-assisted or AI-powered product experiences or using AI tools as part of your design workflow. A portfolio that includes examples of work related to AI-powered features, AI-assisted workflows, or experiments with AI tools - Strong craft across interaction and visual design - Solid mobile experience - Puts the team first - Holds a high bar for yourself and for others - Doesn't wait for perfect clarity - Cares about details and outcomes - Thrives in velocity - Makes good decisions under pressure
