Lead Product Designer (Crypto Exchange)

Role Overview

Lead Product Designer for a decentralized (on-chain) crypto exchange. You will spearhead end-to-end design initiatives for medium to large-scale projects, ensuring pixel-perfect, accessible user experiences across iOS, Android, web, and mobile web.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design projects from conception through production (medium to large scope).
• Produce platform-optimized, pixel-perfect designs for iOS, Android, web, and mobile web.
• Develop, maintain, and improve reusable design templates aligned with the company’s Design Language System (DLS).
• Create detailed specifications and redlines referencing the DLS to guide implementation.
• Review that design assets render correctly in products and meet brand standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, QA, and research teams to maintain consistency.
• Design new UI components and icons, evolving the DLS with a focus on brand alignment and accessibility.
• Maintain documentation of design workflows and processes.
• Conduct user research to understand needs and behaviors.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of product design experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing complex, cross-platform projects.
• Strong attention to detail and drive for pixel-perfect output.
• Significant experience with design systems, including tokens and variable structures.
• Proficient with Figma components, shared libraries, and branching functionality.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and QA.
• Demonstrated ability to build UI/UX from the ground up.
• Self-driven, solution-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Additional design tooling experience: Sketch, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator.
