About the role
Role overview
Join Salesforce as a Lead Product Designer for the Agentforce Platform, shaping the behavioral architecture for Employee Agents. You’ll define how agents communicate and coordinate with enterprise workforces, creating scalable, industry-leading experiences used by millions of people.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design and technical leaders to define:
- Agent communication patterns
- Handoff processes
- Real-time coordination mechanisms
- Use prototypes to explore ideas, validate assumptions, and chart a path to coherent, scalable agent experiences.
- Lead teams from uncertainty to a shared direction through vision setting, storytelling, and principled design decisions.
- Partner across design, product, engineering, and executive stakeholders in matrixed environments.
- Apply design for complex, data-rich enterprise systems with a focus on scale.
Requirements
- 8+ years experience as a Product/UX Designer with a strong portfolio (web and/or mobile), ideally in enterprise software/SaaS.
- Experience designing consumer-grade interfaces in enterprise/platform contexts.
- Strong storytelling and influencing skills to align diverse teams.
- Comfort working across multiple fidelity levels (models/flows → lo-fi prototypes → polished comps) and knowing which to use when.
- Ability to lead end-to-end design projects (timeline, scope, strategy).
- Experience using user research and analytics to inform decisions.
- Experience designing AI-driven interfaces (e.g., conversational UIs, AI agents, human-in-the-loop) and understanding LLM capabilities/limitations.
- Technical prototyping fluency: comfortable reading frontend code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and building functional prototypes using AI-assisted tools.
- Strong design ops/system skills: design systems, accessibility, and design operations at scale.
- Ability to navigate high ambiguity and fragmented problem spaces.
Nice-to-haves / Additional strengths
- Player-coach mindset: balance strategy with hands-on execution and mentoring.
- Curiosity and experimentation with new tools and methods (including AI-assisted prototyping tools).
Location / Work model
- Full remote.
