Lead Operations Program Manager (Product)

Role Overview

Lead Operations Program Manager for the Product team at Thumbtack. You will use AI to help shape how the Product organization plans, builds, and operates, creating scalable operating rhythms and stronger cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and ongoing continuous planning for the Product organization, using business performance and operational knowledge to drive strategic alignment.
• Design how the Product org operates, including:
  • leadership forums
  • decision-making processes
  • cross-functional operating rhythms
• Lead large, strategic, cross-functional programs spanning Product, Engineering, Design, and Analytics, resolving high-level issues with minimal guidance.

Requirements

• Experience building scalable processes and planning systems that improve organizational decision-making and execution.
• Experience with modern planning approaches and tools such as Continuous Planning and Linear (or similar platforms).
• 10+ years in strategy, operations, or program management in high-growth technology environments.
• Proven ability to lead large cross-functional programs by influencing senior leaders without formal authority.
• Deep partnership experience with Product and/or Design organizations, with strong fluency in how modern product teams plan, prioritize, and deliver.
• Ability to create structure and clarity from ambiguity using structured problem-solving and systems thinking.

Preferred / Nice-to-Haves

• Experience in consumer marketplaces, SMB platforms, or technology-enabled services.
