Lead Mobile Flutter Engineer

Lead the development of cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter/Dart, from architecture through release. Own the mobile technical strategy across app structure, state management, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Flutter/Dart mobile apps (architecture → release)
• Own and evolve the mobile technical strategy: app structure, state management, navigation, performance, reliability, and maintainability
• Build reusable component systems and UI patterns to accelerate product delivery
• Integrate mobile clients with RESTful APIs, real-time services, and cloud platforms (e.g., Firebase)
• Drive quality and operations standards:
  • testing strategy
  • CI/CD for mobile
  • observability and production hardening
• Partner with product and design to deliver intuitive, accessible experiences
• Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and raise engineering craft and mobile best practices
• Evaluate and introduce new tools/frameworks to improve developer velocity and app quality

Requirements

• 7+ years shipping Flutter/Dart applications in production
• Strong native iOS background (Swift/Objective-C, iOS SDK, SwiftUI) and experience bridging native iOS with Flutter when needed
• Proven ability to architect and scale mobile codebases (state management, navigation, modularization)
• Strong mobile performance optimization skills, including offline patterns and responsive UI across devices
• Comfortable with cloud-backed systems including authentication, analytics, and push notifications
• Strong communication skills; able to lead by influence across cross-functional teams
• Pragmatic, user-focused mindset; energized by hard product and technical problems

Nice-to-haves

• Frontend/web experience (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML/CSS) for multi-platform work
