Lead Mechanical/ Product Design Engineer

You will work across the entire development lifecycle, collaborate with various engineering teams, and help shape the direction of our products. Key missions: Lead mechanical and product design engineering for V1 products from concept to production, taking ownership of decisions.. Architect and design complex electromechanical systems, driving designs across the entire development lifecycle.. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems and ensure designs meet product goals. Profile: - Willingness and ability to travel to China as needed - Experience shipping high-volume consumer products, including manufacturing support in Asia - Experience with high-volume manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability and assembly (DFM/DFA), tolerance analysis, functional dimensioning and geometric tolerancing (GD&T) - Solid understanding of root cause analysis, DOEs, and other quality measuring techniques - BSME or equivalent - 6+ years of consumer product design experience with knowledge of injection molding, sheet metal forming, and sensor/electronics integration - Highly proficient with 3D modeling (e.g. Solidworks, NX, Creo)
