  • Champion accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
  • Provide architectural oversight for headless CMS integrations (e.g., Contentful, Optimizely, Sitecore).
  • Define best practices for responsive UI, cross-browser compatibility, and internationalization/multilingual support.

Technical Leadership

  • Act as primary point of contact for frontend in a cross-functional squad.
  • Own delivery and stability from planning through production deployment.
  • Lead peer code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure consistency across contributors.
  • Support estimation and sprint planning by breaking epics into stories.

Mentorship & Collaboration

  • Share knowledge via documentation, workshops, and learning sessions.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of frontend engineering experience.
  • 4+ years production experience with React.js and Next.js.
  • Strong fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript (modern ES6+).
  • Experience building/scaling large component libraries or design systems.
  • Strong API integration experience with REST and GraphQL.
  • Performance tuning experience (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse audits).
  • Testing experience with Jest, Cypress, and/or Playwright.
  • CI/CD and deployment experience (e.g., Vercel, Netlify, AWS).
  • Familiarity with headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Optimizely, Sitecore, Sanity).

Salary & Benefits

  • Annual salary range: $94,000 – $140,000.
  • Benefits include medical/dental/vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), flexible PTO, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and other leave benefits.
