About the role
Role Overview
Lead Front End Engineer for Opswat’s Network Detection and Response (NDR) platform. You will lead front-end development, guide a team of developers, and make key architectural decisions to deliver a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead front-end development for the NDR product and build intuitive user interfaces for network detection and response capabilities.
- Guide a team of front-end developers and set direction on front-end architecture, frameworks, and best practices.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into well-designed UIs.
- Build and scale front-end capabilities for a large-scale, data-intensive platform.
- Design modular visualizations and GUI components for complex analytics.
Requirements
- 7+ years of front-end engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with modern frameworks: React, Angular, and/or Vue.
- Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and responsive design.
- Experience designing intuitive UIs for complex data analytics platforms.
- Proven experience building and scaling front-end architectures for data-intensive systems.
- Strong UI/UX and product-minded capabilities, including data visualization, user flows, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally and mentor/guide junior developers.
- Domain experience: network traffic analysis and/or cybersecurity.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Threat Intelligence and cybersecurity problem domains.
- Knowledge of data orchestration tools/frameworks.
- Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
