Lead Front End Engineer (NDR)

Role Overview

Lead Front End Engineer for Opswat’s Network Detection and Response (NDR) platform. You will lead front-end development, guide a team of developers, and make key architectural decisions to deliver a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end development for the NDR product and build intuitive user interfaces for network detection and response capabilities.
• Guide a team of front-end developers and set direction on front-end architecture, frameworks, and best practices.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into well-designed UIs.
• Build and scale front-end capabilities for a large-scale, data-intensive platform.
• Design modular visualizations and GUI components for complex analytics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of front-end engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency with modern frameworks: React, Angular, and/or Vue.
• Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and responsive design.
• Experience designing intuitive UIs for complex data analytics platforms.
• Proven experience building and scaling front-end architectures for data-intensive systems.
• Strong UI/UX and product-minded capabilities, including data visualization, user flows, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and ability to work cross-functionally and mentor/guide junior developers.
• Domain experience: network traffic analysis and/or cybersecurity.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Threat Intelligence and cybersecurity problem domains.
• Knowledge of data orchestration tools/frameworks.
• Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
