Lead DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview

Trivelta is hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer (Remote) to design and build the infrastructure powering its AI-native platform. You will set the technical vision, lead strategic DevOps decisions, and implement practices that ensure scalability, reliability, and security as the platform grows to serve hundreds of thousands of users.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable AWS environments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Architect highly available, multi-tenant cloud systems with a focus on resilience, disaster recovery, and performance.
• Manage and optimize container orchestration using Amazon EKS / Kubernetes.
• Implement and govern multi-account AWS environments using AWS Control Tower (automation, compliance, security policies).
• Build, maintain, and evolve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment.
• Lead network security initiatives (firewall configuration, IDS/IPS, strict IAM policy enforcement).
• Own SOC 2 compliance and other relevant regulatory frameworks, including audits and documentation.
• Mentor and lead a distributed, global DevOps team; drive collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Act as the main liaison between development, security, and operations to align priorities and ensure smooth delivery.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on production experience with Terraform.
• Expert-level AWS knowledge (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Control Tower).
• Proven experience designing and operating multi-tenant cloud architectures.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes / Amazon EKS.
• Demonstrated CI/CD experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalents.
• Deep understanding of network security, IDS/IPS, and IAM best practices.
• Experience owning SOC 2 (or similar security frameworks), including audits.
• Strong leadership, communication, and ability to manage remote/global teams.
• Initiative-taking mindset in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
