Role overview

Lead a mission-driven product design organization as a Staff Product Designer (listed as Lead Designer - REMOTE). You’ll elevate design standards, set UX/visual benchmarks, and craft user experiences that help users manage car ownership in everyday life.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for key product areas across insurance, safety, and repairs.
• Ship 0→1 features that modernize car care for everyday drivers.
• Collaborate with research, product, and data teams to turn insights into impactful designs.
• Create user experiences that improve engagement and retention.
• Build and maintain a cohesive design system (with engineering collaboration) for consistency and scalability.
• Integrate AI capabilities to make the experience faster and more personalized.
• Establish benchmarks for UX and visual design through clarity and craftsmanship.

Requirements

• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual design, UX principles, and consumer-oriented product experience.
• 12+ years of product design experience across mobile and web.
• Proven ability to manage design projects from research → launch → iteration.
• Experience building and refining design systems with engineering teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality output.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills to align cross-functional teams.
