About the role

Role Overview

Lead Architect on Deloitte’s Software Engineering and AI Solutions team, responsible for end-to-end software solution architecture and hands-on full-stack engineering. The role applies software engineering, computer science, and generative AI knowledge to deliver scalable, modern platforms aligned to client and business needs.

Responsibilities

Architect end-to-end software solutions and produce technical design artifacts
Develop front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript with frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, Vue, Ember.js, and WordPress
Build applications and APIs using Python and Node.js across server-based and serverless architectures
Design and implement GraphQL APIs and data models using graph databases (e.g., Neo4j)
Incorporate AI / generative AI capabilities into client-facing and internal applications
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Lead projects or workstreams, mentor others, and provide clear guidance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Experience developing front-end applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework/library (React, Angular, Vue, Ember.js, or WordPress)
Experience building applications/APIs using Python or Node.js in server-based or serverless architectures
Experience designing GraphQL APIs and working with graph databases such as Neo4j
Ability to travel ~30% on average
Communication, quality focus, independence, collaboration, and the ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience as a solution architect for end-to-end software solutions
Experience creating technical design artifacts
Experience incorporating AI/generative AI into applications
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
Experience working with client stakeholders and consulting teams
