About the role
Role overview
As Lead AI Engineer at 360Learning, you will set the technical vision for AI in the product, lead and coach the AI engineering team, and work closely with product and development teams. This is a hands-on leadership role where you make architecture decisions and optimize solutions for real-world constraints.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the technical AI vision for the product.
- Lead, mentor, and coach AI engineers within the team.
- Own end-to-end delivery of new AI features—from technical design to production launch.
- Make key architectural decisions as the product scales from 5 to 10+ AI features.
Requirements
- Experience delivering AI features from design through production.
- Ability to make and own architecture decisions in a fast-growing AI roadmap.
- Proven experience leading and coaching engineers (technical leadership).
- Strong collaboration with product and engineering stakeholders.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience scaling AI systems across multiple concurrent features in production.
