About the role
Role Overview
The LDG Global Operations Finance Partner provides strategic finance leadership across a global manufacturing and operations network. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating complex financial and operational data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance partner to global operations leaders across growth, margin improvement, and operational excellence
- Lead financial planning and performance management, including:
- monthly close
- forecasting
- shipments
- gross margin analysis
- productivity tracking
- operational business reviews
- Provide finance leadership for executive reviews, annual operating plans, long-range planning, and capital investment decisions
- Convert financial/operational data into clear recommendations (risks, opportunities, and actions)
- Partner cross-functionally to improve commercial alignment and overall business effectiveness
- Support global manufacturing operations across multiple sites/regions while promoting standardization and continuous improvement
- Drive reporting enhancements, process automation, and data-driven decision-making using financial systems and analytics tools
- Support transformation efforts, including business cases, restructuring, system implementations, and process improvements
- Lead, coach, and develop a geographically distributed finance team
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance leadership
- 5+ years managing or leading global teams
- Background in global operations and manufacturing (including supply chain or similarly matrixed environments)
- Strong expertise in:
- P&L management
- gross margin improvement
- productivity initiatives
- inventory management
- capital allocation
- Experience with strategic planning, long-range planning, annual operating plans, and investment reviews
- Experience leading transformation: process redesign, system implementations, enterprise initiatives
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to executive audiences
Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency with financial/analytics tools such as SAP and Power BI
