Role Overview

Engage as a Lawyer (Contractor), Remote to provide subject-matter expertise for a customer project focused on training next-generation AI systems. No prior AI experience is required—your legal domain knowledge is the key requirement.

Scope of Work

• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis on a variety of US law topics, providing nuanced guidance.
• Perform in-depth legal research to support project objectives and ensure information is current and accurate.
• Draft, review, and edit legal content, including:
  • memoranda
  • opinions
  • contracts
  • other relevant legal documents
• Assess and provide structured feedback on legal texts for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with best practices.
• Participate in remote, multidisciplinary collaboration to refine deliverables and handle complex legal scenarios.
• Support content quality assurance by identifying errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities.
• Maintain exceptionally high accuracy and attention to detail in all submissions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active US attorney license and strong academic credentials.
• Experience (current or prior) at a top-tier US law firm, with exposure to multiple practice areas.
• Proven ability in legal analysis, research, and drafting across a range of subjects.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and experience reviewing legal content.
• Track record of remote collaboration on multidisciplinary projects.
• Plus: experience with quality assurance and rubric-based evaluation of legal documents.
