Role Overview
Kubernetes Engineer (Remote, Contract – Long Term)
Responsibilities
- Manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments (with EKS preferred)
- Work with AWS core services
- Use infrastructure-as-code to provision and manage infrastructure
- Support CI/CD workflows for container build and deployment
- Contribute to areas touching application architecture and observability
Requirements
- 14+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production (EKS preferred)
- Familiarity with AWS core services
- Python scripting experience
- Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) experience
- Knowledge of CI/CD systems and container build/deploy workflows
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Java and/or Python application architecture
- Observability tools familiarity: Datadog or Dynatrace
