About the role

Role overview

Join DataAnnotation’s coding team to contribute to developing AI systems. You’ll take on programming tasks—primarily centered on Android development—by solving coding problems, evaluating AI-generated code, and writing clear explanations.

Responsibilities

Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, with emphasis on Android
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Preferred: Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Prior experience as a Software Developer/Coder/Software Engineer/Programmer is preferred

Compensation & logistics

Fully remote with a flexible schedule
Hourly pay up to $60 USD/hour (higher-paying projects may be available with strong performance)
Work is provided after a short paid assessment/account signup on the platform
Payment via PayPal

Location eligibility

Work is available to people in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
