About the role

Role Overview

As a Kotlin Developer on DataAnnotation’s coding team, you’ll help develop and improve AI systems by completing programming tasks. Work is fully remote, and you can choose projects that match your availability and goals.

Responsibilities

Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android development
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models

Requirements

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Excellent writing and grammar skills
Preferred: Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift
Preferred: prior experience as a Software Developer/Engineer/Programmer (or similar)

Work Details & Availability

Fully remote: available to people in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand
Flexible schedule: choose which projects and when you work
Paid hourly per project, with potential for higher-paying projects based on performance
Payment is made via PayPal

Compensation

Up to $60 USD/hour (hourly, project-based)
