Role Overview

Parsons is seeking a Kahua Application Developer to serve as a technical leader for Kahua implementations. The role helps clients modernize and optimize project delivery environments for complex capital programs.

This is a 100% remote role.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, develop, and deploy Kahua applications, workflows, forms, and business processes.
Gather requirements with project managers, business analysts, and client stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable Kahua solutions.
Build custom configurations, integrations, dashboards, reports, and data models within Kahua.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
Support data migration, system upgrades, and platform enhancements across multiple client environments.
Create technical documentation, solution designs, and implementation best practices.
Provide production support, issue resolution, and user guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure successful delivery of PMIS and digital project delivery solutions.

Required Skills

3+ years of experience configuring, developing, or administering the Kahua platform.
Strong understanding of Kahua application development, business process automation, forms, and workflow configuration.
Experience implementing PMIS solutions for capital programs or infrastructure domains (e.g., construction, transportation, aviation, water, facilities, capital improvement).
Knowledge of database concepts, data structures, reporting tools, and system integrations.
Ability to gather requirements and map business processes to technical solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication with client/stakeholder interaction.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Desired Skills

Kahua certification (Developer, Administrator, or Implementation Consultant).
Experience with REST APIs, web services, data integrations, and enterprise system connectivity.
Knowledge of project controls and related business processes (cost management, document management, contracts/change management, asset management).
Experience supporting large-scale capital programs and design-build delivery (e.g., CMAR, progressive design-build).
Familiarity with Agile and SDLC practices.
Experience building business intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions.
Consulting experience supporting public-sector or infrastructure clients.
