Role Overview

Junior Software Engineer (Mobile Development)

Entry-level Mobile Developer to help build, test, and maintain mobile apps for Android and iOS. You’ll collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver user-friendly, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for Android and/or iOS
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code using Kotlin/Java, Swift, Flutter, or React Native
• Implement application features in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues and performance bottlenecks
• Optimize for speed, scalability, and user experience
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices
• Perform unit testing and assist with deployment
• Document code, technical processes, and application features
• Stay up to date with mobile development trends and tools

Requirements

• Proficiency in Android (Java/Kotlin), iOS (Swift), or cross-platform frameworks (Flutter/React Native)
• Understanding of OOP concepts
• Knowledge of mobile app architecture and design principles
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON
• Basic understanding of SQLite (or other local/mobile data storage)
• Experience with Git (or other version control)
• Ability to debug and test mobile applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork

Preferred Skills

• Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging)
• State management (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, Redux)
• App store deployment experience (Google Play / Apple App Store)
• Basic cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Exposure to CI/CD for mobile apps
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum
