Junior Mid Full Stack Software Engineer

Role overview

You will join a remote-first, hands-on engineering team working with Knowledge3 to build and operate production-ready applications. The systems follow a question-driven approach, aligning APIs, data pipelines, and interfaces to defined query patterns and system behavior.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web interfaces using React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Implement, debug, and improve backend services in Python (including GraphQL APIs and REST endpoints)
• Integrate with storage and data sources such as local files, SQLite, and S3-compatible systems
• Implement application-level security features
• Write and maintain automated tests to improve reliability
• Support deployment and operations across environments
• Containerize and orchestrate applications using Docker and Docker Compose
• Configure environments, logging, TLS, and monitoring
• Collaborate across repositories and services

Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience

Nice to have / preferences

• DevOps exposure
• Preference for U.S.-based candidates working East Coast hours (mostly asynchronous with periodic coordination)
