Junior Full Stack React/Node.js Developer

Role Overview

Junior Full Stack React/Node.js Developer for a project performing Agile Software Development for systems supporting a federal client mission.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop software from requirements gathering through coding and testing
• Communicate status, issues, and risks to the team
• Collaborate with team members to resolve problems
• Learn new skills in a fast-paced environment

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1–3 years of professional experience as a full stack application developer
• React (or related UI frameworks such as Angular)
• Node.js
• Ability to write SQL and work with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and/or DynamoDB
• Experience with AWS Cloud tools
• Ability to understand complex business processes and how they relate to supporting systems
• Ability to research issues, identify root cause, and recommend/implement solutions
• Quick learning ability and a desire to progress
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to collaborate to meet or exceed client needs and expectations

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Java knowledge
• AWS Lambda
• Knowledge of SPA concepts and libraries
• Agile/DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, JUnit
• Clearance preferences: ICE cleared preferred, USCIS/CBP/Top Secret preferred, and other DHS/government clearance preferred
