Junior Full Stack Java Developer

Role Overview

Junior Full Stack Java Developer — full-time remote role based anywhere in the U.S. You’ll develop, test, and support technology solutions within an Agile/Scrum team, contributing to features that address complex business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, test, and document solutions for large, complex business needs.
• Work in an Agile Scrum environment (e.g., sprint planning, standups, sprint retrospectives).
• Design and implement features using core backend and related technologies.
• Build and deliver solutions using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL, and cloud technologies.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and scaled Agile methods.
• Create technical specifications and test plans.
• Perform and assist with unit, load, performance, and integration testing.
• Support applications in third-level support once deployed to Production.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, REST, and SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using Test-Driven Development and scaled Agile methods.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to React/Redux/AngularJS.
• Exposure to .NET.
• Experience building microservices with Spring Boot (or similar).
• Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps processes.
