Junior Front-End Developer - Remote

Role Overview

Join PulseMediaNL as a Junior Front-End Developer (Remote) based in the MENA region. You’ll build modern, engaging user interfaces for marketing and healthcare-focused digital experiences, collaborating with designers and marketing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Front-End Development
  • Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces
  • Translate UI/UX designs into clean, scalable, reusable code
  • Support development of landing pages, websites, and campaign assets
• Collaboration
  • Work with designers, marketers, and project managers
  • Contribute to improvements tied to SEO, CRO, and performance
• Performance & Optimization
  • Optimize pages for speed and cross-browser compatibility
  • Ensure desktop/tablet/mobile responsiveness
  • Follow accessibility and usability best practices
• CMS & Content Management
  • Maintain and update CMS-based sites, mainly WordPress
  • Implement content updates, layouts, and templates
• Quality Assurance
  • Fix front-end bugs and UI inconsistencies
  • Test across browsers and devices
• Continuous Learning
  • Stay current with modern front-end technologies
  • Participate in code reviews and learn from senior developers

Requirements

• 0–2 years of front-end development experience (internships, freelance, or personal projects)
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Web Development/Software Engineering or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Understanding of responsive, mobile-first design
• Familiarity with React or Vue (plus)
• Experience with WordPress/CMS (preferred)

Nice-to-Haves

• Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility
• Exposure to healthcare or regulated industries
• Familiarity with JS build tools/workflows
• Fluent English; Arabic is a plus

Tools & Skills

• Git / version control
• Basic familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD
• Basic performance optimization and cross-browser testing
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and remote-work comfort
