Junior Front-End Developer - Remote

Role overview

Junior Front-End Developer (Remote) based in the MENA region, supporting the creation of modern, responsive user interfaces for healthcare-focused digital marketing experiences.

Responsibilities

• Front-end development: Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Translate UI/UX designs into clean, scalable, reusable code.
• Support landing pages, websites, and campaign assets.
• Collaboration: Work with designers, marketers, and project managers.
• Contribute to SEO, CRO, and performance-driven improvements.
• Performance & optimization:
  • Optimize for speed and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Ensure responsiveness across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Follow accessibility and usability best practices.
• CMS & content management: Maintain and update CMS-based sites, mainly WordPress.
• Implement content updates, layouts, and templates.
• Quality assurance: Fix front-end bugs and UI inconsistencies; test across browsers/devices.
• Continuous learning: Stay updated on modern front-end technologies and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of front-end development experience (internships, freelance, or personal projects).
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
• Familiarity with React or Vue (or similar frameworks) (plus).
• Experience with live websites/applications is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in CS/Web Development/Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Basic SEO-friendly front-end understanding.
• Git/version control experience.
• Basic familiarity with performance optimization and cross-browser testing.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working remotely.

Preferred / nice-to-haves

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap.
• Basic knowledge of WCAG accessibility.
• Exposure to healthcare/regulated industries.
• Familiarity with JavaScript build tools/workflows.
• Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
