About the role

Role Overview

Join SofterWare as a Junior Front-End Developer supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of modern web applications. The role emphasizes Angular and building responsive, accessible user experiences.

Responsibilities

Frontend development & learning
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using Angular and related frontend technologies
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code following established standards
- Implement UI designs and product requirements with guidance from senior developers
- Troubleshoot UI bugs across browsers and devices
- Follow frontend best practices, coding standards, and accessibility principles
- Participate in code reviews and apply feedback
- Assist with creating/testing WalkMe content to improve usability and adoption
Collaboration & team participation
- Work with Front-End Developers, Product Managers, UX/UI Designers, and QA Engineers
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement)
- Communicate progress, questions, and potential blockers
- Support testing, deployment, and release activities as needed
Testing & quality
- Help develop and maintain unit tests for frontend components
- Validate functionality, identify defects, and troubleshoot issues with senior guidance
- Support investigation and resolution of production issues
Continuous learning & improvement
- Expand knowledge of Angular, frontend architecture, and modern web development
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and industry best practices
- Improve workflows, code quality, and user experience; contribute ideas for continuous improvement

Requirements / Qualifications

Solid foundation in web technologies
Eagerness to grow through collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on experience

Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity with frontend testing and unit testing practices
Interest in accessibility and improving product usability/adoption (including WalkMe content)
