Junior DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Role overview

As a Junior DevOps CI/CD Engineer, you’ll work at the center of SYSTABUILD’s development infrastructure to help teams build, test, and ship software reliably. You’ll support CI/CD pipeline improvements and gradually grow toward broader DevOps/platform engineering responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support and further develop CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams and repositories
• Operate and improve the development tooling landscape, including Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, and SonarQube
• Standardize pipelines, templates, and workflows to improve developer experience and quality
• Integrate quality gates, security checks, and automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues with development teams to improve build reliability
• Assist with migration and integration of repositories, pipelines, and tooling across the SYSTABUILD group
• Document tooling, processes, and best practices to enable self-service for teams

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitHub Enterprise
• Scripting/automation skills, e.g. Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• Basic understanding of modern dev workflows (Git, pull requests, branching strategies)
• Initial experience with build/test automation for at least one ecosystem (e.g. .NET, Delphi, C++)
• Familiarity with code quality tools such as SonarQube or similar static analysis
• Basic understanding of infrastructure and cloud concepts
• Willingness to learn Infrastructure as Code, security practices, and cloud-native tooling
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) organizations, pipelines, or boards
• Exposure to GitHub Enterprise administration or repository management
• Familiarity with Docker
• Interest in AWS
