Role Overview

Matricstek Inc. is seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and deliver actionable insights. You’ll collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to solve practical problems using data-driven approaches.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets
Develop predictive and statistical models for business challenges
Build and deploy machine learning / AI algorithms and solutions
Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights
Perform data mining, trend analysis, and forecasting
Collaborate with data engineers and developers to optimize data pipelines
Design experiments and evaluate model performance
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership
Work with cloud platforms and big data technologies for scalable analytics

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
Strong proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
Experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization
Hands-on tools experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
Understanding of data structures, ETL, and database systems
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with NLP, Deep Learning, or Generative AI
Knowledge of Spark, Hadoop, or other big data technologies
Experience in Agile development environments
Relevant certifications in AI/ML or Cloud technologies
