Role Overview

Join the Data Science team as a Junior Data Scientist in Boston, MA (remote/work from home). This is an early-career role for recent graduates or professionals with 0–2 years of experience, focused on hands-on work with data, predictive models, and business insights.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
Develop and implement Machine Learning models for predictive analytics
Perform statistical analysis using Python and SQL
Build data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
Work with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Software Engineers
Evaluate model performance and optimize algorithms
Create technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders
Follow data quality, security, and governance best practices
Stay current with Data Science and AI technologies

Requirements

0–2 years experience (or knowledge) in Data Science / Machine Learning
Strong Python and SQL
Basic understanding of statistics and probability
Familiarity with Machine Learning algorithms
Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and either TensorFlow or PyTorch
Experience with Tableau or Power BI
Basic understanding of AWS/Azure/GCP
Familiarity with Git, Jupyter Notebook, and Linux
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment

Nice to Have

Any additional exposure to AI/ML projects through training or real-time coursework
