Junior Data Engineer (Remote - United States)

Role Overview

A motivated Junior Data Engineer to help build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure in a remote-first environment. You will support analytics and business teams by ensuring reliable data delivery and good data quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to ensure consistent data delivery
• Help design and implement data models, data warehouses, and storage solutions
• Monitor data quality, troubleshoot data issues, and identify problems
• Integrate new data sources and tools
• Document data pipelines, standards, and best practices

Requirements

• 0–3+ years experience (internships included)
• Experience in data engineering / analytics engineering or related roles
• SQL and relational databases
• Basic understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
• Exposure to data tools (Snowflake, BigQuery) is a plus
• Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently in a remote-first setup
• Fluent English and based in the United States with legal authorization to work full-time
