Junior Business Intelligence Analyst

Role overview

The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst will build and automate data reporting to support internal and client decision-making. You will develop scalable dashboards and optimize analytics workflows to ensure accurate, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Automated reporting & dashboarding
  • Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards using AWS QuickSight
  • Develop scalable reporting solutions in Amazon Redshift and reduce manual report creation
  • Ensure data integrity and readiness for internal and client-facing analytics
• Data analysis & insights
  • Analyze data to identify trends and provide actionable business improvement insights
  • Interpret key metrics across departments to support decision-making
• Cross-functional collaboration
  • Work with business, sales, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver timely reports
  • Support internal and client meetings by explaining reports and data clearly
  • Provide stakeholder updates on status and deliverables
• Process improvement & documentation
  • Maintain clear documentation for reporting processes, requirements, and templates
  • Identify opportunities to improve analytics workflows and reporting efficiency
• Team support & flexibility
  • Assist with ad hoc requests and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and support broader initiatives as needed

Requirements

• SQL for data querying and transformations: 3–5+ years
• AWS QuickSight (or similar BI visualization tool): 3–5+ years
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets (PC/Mac)
• Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and excellent communication
• Strong documentation and stakeholder collaboration skills

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in healthcare and/or insurance industries
