Jr Web Developer

Support the design, development, and maintenance of secure web presence content and public-facing web applications/sites, including program restricted web presence and external platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with secure and public-facing web application and website design, development, and enhancement
• Maintain web properties by:
  • reformatting text
  • validating hyperlink integrity
  • managing file transfers
  • posting translated and newly approved content in line with Government style/formatting standards
• Improve value, usability, and content architecture of program web platforms
• Create and implement online page layouts and interactive visual designs with web design/production teams
• Support SharePoint administration and related web page engineering activities (internal and external)
• Use HTML scripting and related web technologies to update and maintain website content
• Collaborate with business users to select publishing technologies and web solutions that fit organizational needs
• Work with internal experts and cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions aligned to program objectives
• Provide recommendations to improve web development processes, workflows, and outcomes
• Communicate with internal and client teams to support timely delivery and day-to-day operations

Requirements

• US citizenship and fluency in English
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance; must pass background checks/credential verification
• Bachelor’s degree + 1–3 years relevant experience, or Master’s degree + 1+ years
• Strong understanding of web design principles and web application programming concepts
• Working knowledge of HTML and related web technologies
• Experience with web content management and web page maintenance, including SharePoint environments
• Strong problem-solving/analytical skills and written/verbal communication
• Detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
