Jira/Atlassian Architect - w2 Only

Role Overview

Jira/Atlassian Architect (Jira Architect) for 100% remote work (must work PST hours). You will lead the design, standardization, and optimization of an enterprise Jira Cloud environment, focusing on scalable architecture, governance, and large-scale migrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise Jira Cloud architecture and project hierarchy.
• Standardize:
  • Workflows
  • Custom fields
  • Permission schemes
  • Screen schemes
  • Issue types
• Lead Jira data cleanup, schema consolidation, and bulk migrations.
• Configure and optimize Advanced Roadmaps, Jira Goals, and Atlassian Teams.
• Build executive dashboards, portfolio reports, and project tracking metrics.
• Implement Jira Automation to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support change and migration to shared Jira spaces.
• Create governance documentation, best practices, and deliver training for administrators and business users.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on Jira Administration experience.
• Strong expertise in Jira Cloud administration and configuration.
• Experience designing workflows, permission schemes, custom fields, and screen schemes.
• Experience with enterprise Jira migrations, governance, and data remediation.
• Strong knowledge of Jira Automation, dashboards, filters, and reporting.
• Experience with Advanced Roadmaps, Jira/Confluence integration, and portfolio management.

Nice to Have

• Atlassian certification (ACP/Jira Administrator).
• Experience with SAFe or PMI and/or large enterprise Agile environments.
