About the role

Role Overview

JavaScript Frontend Developer (Remote) on a contract basis, working from anywhere. You’ll build and maintain client-side (and some server-side) JavaScript applications with a focus on performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain JavaScript applications using modern frameworks and libraries
Write clean, efficient, maintainable code using JavaScript and related technologies
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate UI with server-side logic
Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and scalability
Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices
Troubleshoot issues and support cross-functional delivery of solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming
Experience with front-end frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js
Knowledge of backend technologies: Node.js and Express
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
Experience with Git (version control)

Nice to Have

Experience delivering scalable applications with cross-functional teams

Work Setup & Compensation

Remote (Work from Anywhere)
Contract hourly rate: $30–$90/hour
