About the role

Role Overview

Contract position for a JavaScript Frontend Developer (Remote) working from anywhere. You’ll build and maintain client-side and server-side JavaScript applications, ensuring strong performance and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain JavaScript applications using modern frameworks and libraries
Write clean, efficient, maintainable code (JavaScript and related technologies)
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate UI with server-side logic
Optimize applications for speed and scalability
Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices
Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Required Skills

JavaScript proficiency, including ES6+ and asynchronous programming
Frontend framework experience: React, Angular, or Vue.js
Backend knowledge: Node.js and Express
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
Experience with Git (version control)

Nice to Have

Experience delivering scalable applications in a team environment (implied by cross-functional collaboration)

Contract Details

Rate: $30–$90/hour
Location: Remote (work from anywhere in the US)
