JavaScript Frontend Developer (Remote)

Role overview

Contract JavaScript Frontend Developer (Remote, work from anywhere) supporting scalable, high-performance JavaScript applications across client-side and server-side components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain JavaScript applications using modern frameworks and libraries
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable JavaScript code (ES6+ and asynchronous patterns)
• Collaborate with backend developers to connect user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices
• Troubleshoot issues in delivered solutions

Required skills

• Strong JavaScript proficiency, including ES6+ and asynchronous programming
• Experience with front-end frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Knowledge of back-end technologies: Node.js and Express
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
• Experience with Git version control

Nice-to-haves

• Experience delivering scalable applications with cross-functional teams
