Role Overview

JavaScript Frontend Developer (Remote)

Contract role (work from anywhere). Build and maintain client-side and server-side JavaScript applications with a focus on performance, responsiveness, and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain JavaScript applications using modern frameworks and libraries
Write clean, efficient, maintainable code (JavaScript and related technologies)
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
Optimize applications for speed, performance, and scalability
Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices

Required Skills

Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+ and asynchronous programming)
Front-end framework experience: React, Angular, or Vue.js
Back-end knowledge: Node.js and Express
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
Experience with version control (Git)

Nice to Have

Experience building scalable applications for evolving business needs (implied by project focus)
